Finca Bello Horizontes is located close to the city of Santa Tecla in the La Libertad region to the South West of El Salvador. The total finca area is 55 blocks, 47 of which are dedicated to growing coffee, the rest being forest reserve. The finca deals 100% in planting and harvesting coffee. Predominantly dealing with Bourbon varieties and under the shade of the avocado, allspice and pepeto trees are Pacas and Pacamara varietals.
The finca was purchased in 1975 by Jose Calderon Col and his brother in law, Giner Gonzales and named it Bello Horizonte, meaning Beautiful Horizon inspired by view from the finca of Santa Tecla Volcano and the El Chingo Volcano in Guatemala.
