Grown and harvested at Bombe, Sidamo, Ethiopia, a place known for its rich vegetation and climate. This coffee is sourced from local nearby farmers. 1022 farmers contribute actively to this washing station who harvest between December and February each year. The coffee elevation ranges between 1920 - 2020 masl, with sunny and humid climate conditions. The annual rainfall in this region falls between 1599-1799mm.
The Abore station was named after a bridge made and dedicated to a local chief and a fountain next to the site and bridge. Well known by the locals, it was originally built and founded in 1997. Many employees have been working there since it was founded. The washing station is located beside a beautiful waterfall. The equipment at this washing station includes depulping and pressurised sorting machinery, fermentation tanks, washing tunnels, and African beds. There are dedicated wastage pools on site for natural treatment as part of their strict environmental guidelines, to reduce the environmental impact caused by coffee processing.
