The Community Naranjo de Dota coffee is sourced from the farms owned by the Corella Granados brothers, who have been growing coffee for their entire lives.
They have 50 hectares of coffee planted in the subregion of Naranjo de Dota, in the Tarrazu region, and the plots planted in Naranjo are all new plantations that are now in their fifth year of production.
To ensure the highest quality, the farmers are committed to picking only perfectly ripe cherries. This attention to detail creates more complexity in the cup and leads to better prices for their coffee. The cherries are then taken to Palmichal Mill for processing. This lot is fully washed and mechanically dried at temperatures below 37.5°C.
