Behmor
We directly import Behmor (200V metric) roasters and spare parts into New Zealand, hold spare parts and resolve any warranty issues. These should be registered on the Behmor web site once received, to ensure any warranty issues are dealt with efficiently.
Joe Behm, the founder and President of Behmor Inc. started as a garage inventor. He had a vision to produce an affordable bench top coffee roaster and this he has achieved, and more. We enjoy working with Joe and catch up with him as often as possible.
As part of this relationship, we also work with Andy Freeman; Coffee Snobs. Andy has worked closely with Joe to continue to improve the Behmor offering.
Both organisations work to "give back" to the coffee industry. Joe is currently focused on his Behmor Inspired programme - donating roasters to coffee farmers so that they can actually taste their own coffee and continue to improve the quality. Andy has a FairCrack programme - using a percentage of all profits to fund various projects benefiting coffee producers.
In the rare occasion that your Behmor fails for some reason, please log the issue on the Behmor web site (so that they are able to track all issues and continue to improve the manufactured product) and also let us know. We work with Behmor to resolve any issues on the ground in New Zealand.
The Jake
Behmor have intended, for many years, to stock a 1kg roaster known as "The Jake". Our intention is to stock them when they become available.
While optimistic timelines have been provided, they have been consistently extended, and even once they are released in the USA, we will have to wait for them to be certified in Australasia. We are not able to provide an ETA on this.
Other Roasters
At this point, we do not stock any other roasters. We believe the Behmor offers the best value for home roasters.
